The Second World War, Part 2

This lesson has two central themes. First, what the home front was like during the War, specifically the way it affected the lives of African-Americans, of women and of Japanese-American. Second, it looks at the end of the War in Europe starting with a close examination of the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France and ending with Germany’s conquest and surrender eleven months later.
