1989-2000, An Overview

The final lesson in this course discusses the presidency of George Herbert Walker Bush, the generally high marks he received for his handling of foreign policy and the economic struggles that ultimately made him a one-term president. It also reviews the achievements and the failures, including a scandal that led to the second-ever presidential impeachment, of the Clinton presidency which ended with a controversial election in 2000 that ultimately ushered in the presidency of George W. Bush as America entered a new century.
